    New England Sings! 2016

New England Sings! is NECOM’s acclaimed, national award winning choral showcase that brings together over 800 K-Year 12 choristers and an 80+orchestra from 25 New England regional schools. New England Sings! was performed over two sold out concerts at Lazenby Hall on Sunday 16 October. So far NECOM has received glowing feedback from Adam Marshall MP, The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, community members, schools and parents.

The concerts celebrated the love of singing and feature many well-known songs, in addition to premiering two commissioned works written especially for the Combined Primary Schools Choirs and for the Combined Secondary Choir and Orchestra. Be inspired by How Can I Keep From Singing, Christopher Gordon’s Peace on Earth, Luke Byrne’s Three Pieces from New England, Paul Jarman’s inspirational Invictus and John Farnham’s rousing finale You’re The Voice, performed by NECOM choirs, the combined primary and secondary choirs, full symphony orchestra, and bagpipes.
