TERM 3 UPDATE
Yes! NECOM Foundation ensembles will recommence in Term 3 after the long recess due to COVID-19. Rehearsals will commence face-to-face under the guidelines of the NSW Dept of Education and NSW Department of Health. In preparation for this return, NECOM has worked diligently to implement extensive health and safety policies for group activities to resume safely as the wellbeing and protection of students, staff and families is paramount.

FOUNDATION Instrumental Ensembles will commence from Tuesday 28 July:
- Puddledock & Booralong Strings – Tuesday 28 July, 4-4.45pm
- Tilbuster Winds – Wednesday 29 July, 5-5.45pm
- Thunderbolt Percussion – Thursday 30 July, 4-4.45pm
Playing music together with their peers provides significant and far-reaching benefits to young musicians. It inspires children to develop their listening, co-ordination, technical, social and communication skills. NECOM provides Foundation string and woodwind/brass ensembles on Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons with specialist conductors and accompanists for the following ensembles:
