NECOM's Instrumental Programs offer a broad range of music training activities by dedicated professional teacher-musicians and visiting guest artists. NECOM provides instrumental lessons in a range of string, brass and woodwind.
Schools are invited to host a music concert in their classrooms by a trio of NECOM musicians who tour
the vast New England region visiting many remote schools along the way. Schools will also receive a free
resource kit for classroom music lessons.
The Mini Minstrels Music Program, is an exciting and fun-filled introduction to music for children from as young as 6 months to Year 2 at school. Mini Minstrels provides an outstanding music education that gives children a life-long love of music and is the ideal springboard for their future instrumental or choral studies. NECOM currently offers Mini Minstrels classes in Armidale and Walcha.
