Lots of children in North West regional schools have been exposed to the repertoire from the highly successful “Chamber Music in Schools” programme which is administered through NECOM. The image in this newsletter shows Flautist Kristal Spreadborough in action at Mungindi Central School. The students and teachers received the programme with interest and particularly loved learning how to do the Can Can with cellist Charlotte Low.
The programme offers three different presentations and this year most schools have received No.1 which is Peter and the Wolf, Carnival of Animals and the famous Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. We also provide three different Presentations with other repertoire.
