Enrolment Terms

  • Programs are designed for the full year of sequential activities, and it is assumed that enrolment is for the full year i.e. 4 public school terms.
  • To activate enrolment, all students must have completed NECOM’s enrolment form
  • Invoices will be sent to account holders approximately 3 weeks before each term commences.
  • Notification to withdraw or defer lessons must be made giving a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice to admin@necom.org.au
  • Term invoices will be automatically sent unless a formal withdrawal has been received with a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice period.
  • It is the responsibility of the Account Holder (parent/guardian/student) to notify the NECOM office of any changes to their contact details. 

Lesson Attendance Policy, Late Commencements, Missed Lessons & Refunds

  • New students who enroll after the beginning of the term may be entitled to a pro-rata reduction in tuition fees.
  • Parents/student must give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to their teacher if they cannot attend a lesson so an alternative time can be negotiated. This includes lessons delivered at school that may be missed due to school activities (eg. carnivals, excursions, vacations) or other events.
  • Lessons missed with less than 48 hours’ notice, or without notice, will not be given a make-up lesson and are not eligible for a refund or credit.
  • Two alternative lesson times will be offered for Makeup lesson credits. If the parents/student do not take up either of the alternative times, the makeup lessons are forfeited.
  • A maximum of 2 makeup lessons per term will be offered.
  • Makeup lessons declined will not roll over to the next term.
  • Makeup lessons are not available for missed shared lessons.
  • In exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious prolonged illness or accident with a doctor’s certificate), a request for credit or a refund must be made to NECOM office admin@necom.org.au.
  • Fees are due by week 4 of each term, after which time a late fee may be charged . NECOM reserves the right to suspend or cancel enrolments if accounts remain outstanding.
  • Relevant NECOM policies and directions apply to parents/guardians/students. These policies may be varied at times by NECOM and up-to-date copies can be obtained from NECOM.

Withdrawal Policy

  • Notification to withdraw or defer lessons must be made giving a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice to admin@necom.org.au
  • A telephone call, text, or casual conversation with your teacher does not constitute official written notification of your cancellation of enrolment.
Discount Options
  • Early Bird Discount – $10 early bird discount per student per program when fees paid in full by early bird date
  • Family Member Discount – family member discounts for second and subsequent siblings at $10 per sibling per term
