Come and celebrate the NECOM revival of the New England Sinfonia as it carries on the wonderful legacy of the original ensemble under past director Erroll Russell. The ensemble is a combination of NECOM string teaching staff, friends, alumni and specially invited top end students under the artistic directorship of Stephen Wu. Together they will present a program of sublime string orchestra music and feature Brisbane based outstanding emerging young artist, David Freisberg performing the Boccherini Cello Concerto in D Major.

Money raised from performances will go towards funding the NECOM scholarship program to assist students in paying for lessons given by visiting artists, extra workshop opportunities and the possibility of touring the orchestra to other regional towns.
