Wendy Champion started learning flute at the age of 10 and completed her Bachelor of Music (Perf) with Honours 1 at the Australian Institute of Music in 2004. Based in Inverell, Wendy is a NECOM Music Educator and is freelance woodwind teacher of flute, piccolo, clarinet and saxophone throughout the area. She is also a regular performer in concerts and events in the New England region such as Opera in the Paddock, Gem Tones Stage Band and the Sapphire City Concert Band.
Wendy currently directs the NECOM Band Program at Glen Innes Public School.
