Don’t miss NECOM’s annual Winter Choral Concert featuring all of our choirs in one massive performance! Wednesday 28 August will showcase NECOM’s choirs, Minisingers, Cantilena, Cantilena Chorale, New England Singers, and New England Chamber Choir.
NECOM's Instrumental Programs offer a broad range of music training activities by dedicated professional teacher-musicians and visiting guest artists. NECOM provides instrumental lessons in a range of string, brass and woodwind.
Schools are invited to host a music concert in their classrooms by a trio of NECOM musicians who tour
the vast New England region visiting many remote schools along the way. Schools will also receive a free
resource kit for classroom music lessons.
The Mini Minstrels Music Program, is an exciting and fun-filled introduction to music for children from as young as 6 months to Year 2 at school. Mini Minstrels provides an outstanding music education that gives children a life-long love of music and is the ideal springboard for their future instrumental or choral studies. NECOM currently offers Mini Minstrels classes in Armidale and Walcha.
