Chamber Music in Schools

NECOM’s Chamber Music in Schools program brings live musical performances into your classroom, delivered by professional musicians and educators from Armidale.

Students actively participate—meeting performers, exploring instruments, and even joining in. Each performance is supported by curriculum-aligned lesson plans, helping teachers extend learning beyond the concert.

A teacher from your school is included in every performance, boosting engagement and building confidence in music education.

Suitable for schools of any size, the program can be tailored to meet your needs.

At just $5 per student, NECOM’s Chamber Music in Schools program offers an affordable opportunity for students to experience live music up close, featuring strings, wind, and piano. With grant support, NECOM also reaches remote schools with small enrolments, ensuring no child misses out.

Performances can be held at your school, a shared central venue, or as part of festivals and creative arts days. The trio is experienced with all school types and sizes, from just a few students to large audiences.
