Endangered Instruments

Some beautiful instruments are becoming less popular with students and as a result, they’re at risk of disappearing from orchestras and bands.

At NECOM, we’re committed to keeping these instruments alive by supporting students who are interested in learning them.

We currently offer support for students wanting to learn:

  • Double Bass

  • Euphonium

  • French Horn

  • Oboe

  • Trombone

If you or your child are interested in exploring one of these unique and rewarding instruments, we’d love to hear from you.

NECOM students proudly participate in the Armidale Eisteddfod each year. Their exceptional talent and dedication are reflected in consistently outstanding results, earning top awards across a wide range of categories.
