Music in the Classroom

NECOM delivers high-quality music education to over 7,500 students across the New England region through its “Conservatorium Without Walls” model.

Combined Classroom Music Education & Choral Program (K-6)

Program Overview
NECOM delivers a curriculum-aligned K–6 music program led by specialist teachers:

  • 36 sessions per year

  • Aligned to NSW Creative Arts syllabus

  • Delivered in class time

  • Sequential learning with performance opportunities

Student Outcomes

Instrumental Music Programs (K-6)

Program Overview

NECOM delivers a high-quality instrumental band program including:

  • 36 sessions per year

  • Expert tuition from specialist educators

  • Repertoire for all levels and instruments

  • On-site support and guidance

  • Subsidised instrument hire and travel

  • Regular instrument servicing

NECOM’s Instrumental Program is curriculum-aligned and delivered by specialist educators during class time, in line with the NSW Creative Arts K–6 syllabus.
