Jazz Reading Day 2

Jazz enthusiasts young and old are invited to come to the NECOM Auditorium from 5 – 6.30pm to play through some jazz standards; If you’re a member of the public or a member of an existing school jazz group, we’d love to have you join us for a fun afternoon.

Anyone who has played for at least three years should feel comfortable with most of the pieces, and ideal instruments are clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums.

Audience members are most welcome to sit in and enjoy the afternoon’s music (but remember, we’re all sight-reading), and entry is free to all. If you’re interested in coming along, please comment below with your name and instrument. If there is enough interest in the community, a regular jazz ensemble would be considered.
