Presented by the New England Conservatorium of Music in partnership with Pinchgut Opera and Create NSW, Monteverdi’s Vespers is a pillar of baroque repertoire – a spectacular masterpiece of sonic grandeur, with opulent choruses, dramatic solo arias and duets, and some of the most ambitious instrumental music the world has ever heard.
