Rising Stars plus Marian Barford Award

This concert features several of the most outstanding alumni and current students of the New England Conservatorium of Music in the newly renovated Auditorium of the Armidale Teachers’ College. The program includes pieces by J. S. Bach, Tchaikovsky, Bartók, and Dvorák, performed by alumni Madison Sim and David Tan (violins), Jonathan Bruhl (viola and voice), and Abigail Thompson (cello), accompanied by pianists Robert Manley, Euga Ruan, and Sheila Guymer.
The 2024 prizewinners of the Marian Barford award will be announced, and celebrations will continue with refreshments served after the concert.
