NECOM Board Christmas Drinks

The NECOM Board’s annual Christmas Drinks held on Thursday 5 December saw over 50 people fill the portico of the Armidale Teachers College on an afternoon when the weather was almost perfect! This year’s party was an enjoyable occasion where NECOM’s staff, teachers, board, donors and supporters celebrated the year that was and to acknowledge the invaluable contribution made by all to NECOM’s achievements.

The event was also an opportunity for Chair Greg Moin to thank special guest David Gee, NECOM’s longest serving member of the Board, who has recently retired from the Board after 15 years of exemplary service. David’s generous support, wise counsel and contribution to NECOM will be very much missed.

It wouldn’t be a party at NECOM without live music and this year Paul Marshall and Louisa Sindel-Marshall performed the extraordinary duet ‘Black’ for duo saxophones to great acclaim. Thank you to them both for a stunning performance.

The NECOM board wishes the staff, generous donors and supporters a very happy and safe Christmas and a successful 2020.
