The New England Sings outreach program has been a great success this year with 6 primary schools from Inverell, Glen Innes, Walcha, Dorrigo and Tamworth taking part. The enthusiasm shown by the students has been wonderful and we are looking forward to them joining us for this spectacular concert. A big thank goes to the hard working teachers at these schools who have been preparing their students by helping them to learn the notes and memorise the songs. Mrs Rickards and I have thoroughly enjoyed travelling to all the schools, and solving all the musical problems of the world on the way to and fro, and have appreciated the warm welcomes we have received. There are some wonderful voices out there and we can’t wait to hear them all together for the concert.
