There has been such a great response to the new Percussion Ensemble program this month that we needed to create two ensembles! Repercussion is the perfect group for students from beginner to AMEB Grade 2 standard (recommended age 9 – 12), while those students more experienced at reading notation (recommended age 13 – 17) have been invited to form the Senior Percussion Ensemble. Both groups rehearse each Thursday evening, with Repercussion from 5 – 5.30pm followed by Senior Percussion from 5.30 – 6.15pm. It’s still not too late to join this fast-growing program which is being offered for free in Term Two so that students can explore the full range of instruments and sounds.
